Is the Hamilton Beach Breakfast Sandwich Maker Worth It?

I don’t know how you feel, but I’d venture to say there are few things better in this world than a fresh breakfast sandwich. Maybe I’m just hungry right now, but that’s gotta be at least partly true.

They can be one of the most satisfying meal choices on the planet and they get a thousand percent better if you make them yourself. You can healthy up the options and you don’t have to leave your house. Homebodies rejoice.

How often did I usually make them for myself? Well…almost never. I’m a little lazier than I’d prefer to admit in the morning. But, I’ll say it here because this is a safe space.

It just tends to take multiple pans and I don’t own a toaster, so the bread won’t be all beautiful and crisped up how I want it, and it felt so much harder than defaulting to popping a couple eggs in the ‘ol hardboiled egg maker and letting the Keurig make me a cup of coffee.

And then, I found this little $40 beauty:

The Hamilton Beach Breakfast Sandwich Maker.

Hamilton Beach Breakfast Sandwich Maker
Be still my heart.

How it Works

Put down the bottom layer of bread, add your preferred ingredients, pop down the egg tray, crack an egg in there, bread on top, let it cook for 5 minutes. Slide it out. Delicious mouth pleasure.

I’m gonna leave this video right here to convince you how magical it is.

The reason technology was invented.

Are you single?

Then, you can opt for the $25 solo Hamilton Beach Breakfast Sandwich Maker and enjoy one by yourself because they don’t taste any less amazing when you’re alone.

Pro Tips:

  • Put your meat on top of the cheese to stave off a dairy mess.
  • Use a light layer of the cooking spray of your choice to keep things from getting too clingy.
  • Buy one for your friends and family so that you always have access to breakfast sandwiches when you visit them.

How’s the Clean Up?

Super easy, no pans to wash afterwards, and the pieces are removable so you can pop them in the dishwasher or give it a simple hand wash. Good for my fellow lazy people out there.

Is it worth it?

You’re damn right it is. So simple. So reasonably priced. So versatile. One day could be a bacon, spinach, and egg croissant sandwich. Another could be ham, cheddar, egg, and tomato on an English muffin. Pop a little avocado on that thing at the end and you’re really in business.

The world will be your breakfast oyster.

Maybe don’t put oysters on your sandwich, though. Let’s draw the line somewhere.
